Know God

"It’s not about you. The purpose of your life is far greater than your own personal fulfillment, your peace of mind, or even your happiness. It’s far greater than your family, your career, or even your wildest dreams and ambitions. If you want to know why you were placed on this planet, you must begin with God. You were born by His purpose and for His purpose."

- Purpose Driven Life by Pastor Rick Warren, Zondervan, 2002

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a futures." Jeremiah 29:11

Jesus said, "I am the way,  the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

The Bible says about Jesus, "But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, he gave the right to become Children of God..." John 1:12

ABC's of salvation

To make sure that you understand the commitment, here are the ABC's of salvation. Remember, you don't need to have all the answers or have your life perfect before you commit your life to God.

Acknowledge that God loves you and created you with a purpose.                   Admit your need

(I am a sinner and I need God's forgiveness).

Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave.

(His death and ressurection paid the penalty for your sins and mistakes and it allowed you accesss to receive forgiveness from God).

Confess your sins and be willing to repent

(Turn from your sins and ask God to help you live a new life. Through prayer and through the Holy Spirit, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life. Receive Him as Lord and Savior and allow Him to direct your steps.)

Simple Prayer

If you are ready to commit your life to God and discover His awesome plan for your life, just say this simple prayer: "I admit that I am a sinner and that I need your help. Jesus, I believe that you dies on the cross and rose again from the grave.  Through your death, all of my sins have been paid and I am able to go to the Father and receive forgiveness.  I believe that you are the only way to the Father.  Please teach me and guide me so that I can live a life of purpose with You as my Lord and Savior.  I believe that You love me and that nothing can separate me from Your love. Amen."
