Lou and Mirian Ramos are visionaries and change-makers determined to make a difference. They are the Founding Pastors of Storehouse Church. Pastor Lou received his BA from Northeastern Illinois University, a Masters of Theology from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and a Leadership Degree at Northwestern University. He also holds an Honorary Ph.D. in Leadership Development. Pastor Mirian received her BA in financial accounting.
In June of 2005, Pastors Lou and Mirian selected a team of young leaders to help plant a new church in Chicago. In January 2012, after 7 years of being bi-vocational, Pastor Lou resigned from his 17 year career as a Government Official with the Department of Homeland Security to pursue God’s work.
During the summer of 2013, Storehouse Connect was launched, a non-for profit that enables and empowers individuals and families and communities to holistically address their physical, educational, emotional, social, and environmental needs. In the years since its foundation, Storehouse has ignited hearts, illuminated minds, and impacted lives through local and international outreaches and ministry. Under their pastorate they have launched missions teams to Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Haiti, Honduras, South Africa, Swaziland, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. Additionally, an International Storehouse Campus is operating in La Victoire, Haiti.
Pastor Lou’s passion for seeing people walk in integrity is reflected in his biblical yet practical preaching style. Pastor Mirian's heart for youth and married couples is demonstrated by the launch of Jr Epic (a leadership program for teens) and Marriage on the Rock (a support and teaching group for married and engaged couples). Their desire to develop strong leaders is demonstrated in the continual training and disciplining of young men and women. They have developed and trained young adults who have now become pastors, teachers, evangelists, and missionaries. Pastor Lou and Mirian continue to speak at various churches, ministries, and leadership programs throughout the Chicago area. Storehouse Church is growing and making a difference for Christ. Lou and Mirian were married in 1996 and currently resides in Chicago with their three children, Samuel, Faith, and Mateo, and their dog, Simba.
